:: Band Of The Month 8/4/2008 4:11:57 AM Sandwich, the sophomore effort from The Sammies, is set for release September 23 on MoRisen Records. The new release builds on the success of their critically acclaimed self-titled debut, which Pitchfork called “energetic and infectious.” Plans for a tour in support of Sandwich will be announced soon.

Their music is a unique blend of electronica, funk, and southern rock, the likes of which I’ve never quite seen before.
